Where are Lexus made? Read on, you might just be surprised.
While most Lexus models are built in their home country of Japan, one Lexus model is built right here in the Great White North, in Cambridge, Ontario.
The RX has been produced in Ontario since 2003, with RX Hybrid production being added to the mix in 2014, and is one of a select few luxury SUVs manufactured in Canada.
The Lexus plant in Cambridge, housed in the Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada’s South Plant, is one of five Lexus manufacturing facilities around the world and one of just two plants in North America.
The second North American plant is located in Georgetown, Kentucky and is home of the Lexus ES.
