All Lexus models currently sold in Canada are uniquely identified by a two or three-letter acronym, such as the GS or the RXL. It would be easy to choose a few letters that sound good together, however, Lexus model letters all carry a meaning. Each one describes the type of vehicle that it appears on. For example, the original Lexus model, the LS, is known as a “Luxury Sedan”.
