Lexus is expanding its luxury ES sedan lineup this 2021 year by introducing two new models, the first AWD in the ES series and a sporty, limited production ES 350 to diversify the signature sedan.

The addition of the 2021 Lexus ES 250 AWD brings increased confidence to the driving experience in low-traction conditions, keeping more contact points to the ground without sacrificing power or fuel consumption.

Powered by the 2.5-litre L4 engine, sending torque to all four wheels, paired with improved traction, the 2021 ES 250 AWD can accelerate confidently with 203 horsepower. And, an estimated fuel rating of 8.4 L/100km makes for the best fuel efficiency compared to other gas models in the ES series.

In slippery road conditions, the Dynamic Torque Control AWD can detect and direct 50 per cent of engine torque to the rear wheels when needed in response to acceleration or slippage at the front wheels. As normal driving conditions resume, the electromagnetically controlled coupling on the rear-drive axle disengages the propeller shaft, prioritizing fuel efficiency.

With no sacrifices to cargo storage, passenger comfort, vehicle weight or agility to include the AWD transformation, the available ES F Sport package will include the same tuned suspension with 19-inch wheels in the AWD model and the FWD lineup.

Adding to the 2021 ES lineup is the limited production ES 350 Black Line Special Edition. Based on the F Sport grade, this sleek model will be offered in a choice of two exterior colours, Ultrasonic Blue Mica 2.0 and Ultra White, with a two-tone interior that features white and black colouring with grey stitching. Unique aesthetic features included in the Black Line ES 350 include black outer mirrors, darkened F Sort wheels and lug nuts, and a black rear lip spoiler.

The 2021 Lexus ES will be arriving at Northwest Lexus early in the Fall of 2020.
