4 things to know about the first-ever Lexus TX

With a commitment to exceptional craftsmanship, cutting-edge technology, and unparalleled attention to detail, Lexus consistently delivers vehicles that epitomize elegance and comfort. It’s who we are. Both the driver and passenger experience are at the forefront of everything we do, and we make it a priority to listen to our customer’s ever-changing wants and needs. This is how the first-ever Lexus TX came to be, really.

The newly-launched SUV, which made its official debut on June 8, offers three spacious rows of luxurious comfort. There’s no bad seat.

It’s a mid size sports utility vehicle at heart, but has a smaller footprint than then GX and LX, though is larger than the now retired RX-L. Truly, it’s the ideal vehicle for families that are looking for an elevated way to move groups of adults and/or children. Think of the TX as the luxury counterpart to parent company Toyota’s 2024 Grand Highlander, another spacious option.

The 2024 Lexus TX is available in four trims, including Standard, Premium, Luxury and F SPORT Performance—the latter of which is available in a 2.4L turbocharged hybrid.

“It’s only human to want the best seat in the house. And it’s only Lexus to make every seat the best seat,” says Dejuan Ross, group vice president and general manager, Lexus Division. “This is a pivotal moment for our brand, creating an elegant and indulgent vehicle experience for every single passenger. TX prioritizes comfort in every row and embodies our steadfast commitment to electrification, technology, performance and design.”

Comfort goes beyond the new, spacious three-row layout. Other interior design elements add to the enjoyable driving experience that comes with the TX, like the dual-opening console lid, which allows the driver and front-seat passenger to open the left and right sides independently. In the second row, there are two configuration options, including captain’s chairs or a 60:40 split-folding bench.

The third row is easy to get into, too, thanks to a smart slide assist walk-in mechanism, which is activated by pressing a switch, allowing the seat to tilt forward and the slide assist spring to slide and fold the second-row seats. There’s endless cargo storage, too, with enough space for seven carryon suitcases to fit in the rear.

It’s a busy, travelling family’s dream vehicle and the release of the spacious three-row TX is setting a new standard for comfort in the luxury SUV segment. Really, it’s the trifecta of comfort, opulence, and innovation, and we’d love to help you experience it at Northwest Lexus.
