Lexus’s new all-terrain luxury offering, the 2022 GX 460, has been announced, with enhanced features and a fresh selection of trim configurations to express confidence and intuitiveness on any Canadian adventure.

For all of the 2022 GX models, Lexus has put serious focus into design and comfort with a cleverly crafted cabin that’s well isolated from the frame, allowing a smoother passenger experience along demanding routes.

The cabin continues to impress with seats of leather, an elegant steel instrument panel contrasted by wood and aluminum trim, and a 10.3-inch touchscreen display with an intelligent connectivity package featuring: Service Connect, Safety Connect, Remote Connect and navigation.

For the onlooker, Triple LED headlamps and an aggressive front grille give an illuminating introduction to the commanding front and rear spoilers, while the 4.6L V8 engine delivers a staggering 301 hp and 329 lb-ft of torque, tackling whatever the road demands.

The GX’s all-terrain confidence is backed by a six-speed automatic transmission, feeding power through a full-time four-wheel drive system with active traction control and low-end torque for towing up to a 2,948 kg (6,500 lb).

Drivers searching for a commanding all-terrain SUV have two new trim choices within the 2022 GX 460 lineup, with the limited-production Black Line Edition and Lexus’s Signature edition.

The 2022 Lexus GX 460 Signature Package comes with 18-inch alloy wheels, a nine-speaker audio system, heated and ventilated front seats, a driver’s seat memory system, a heated steering wheel, heated outboard second-row seats, rear climate control, rain sensing wipers and a power moonroof. Drivers have a diverse range of colour selection from, including Starfire Pearl, Nebula Grey Pearl, Atomic Silver and Caviar.

The 2022 Lexus GX 460 Black Line Edition arrives with 18-inch gloss black wheels, unique roof rails and cross bars, black chrome spindle grille, red tail lamps, a dark grey bumper and fog lamp garnish, headlamp cleaners and black window frames. Featured contents from the Signature Package have been included, as well as bi-tone black Nuluxe with gray-colored bolster inserts and stitching and exclusive Matte Black Ash Wood trim featured within the cabin. This trim level is additionally available in Black Onyx or Nori Green Pearl colours.

The 2022 Lexus GX 460 Premium Package adds additional safety features, Panoramic View Monitor and the Multi-Terrain Monitor with Underfloor View to the Signature Package as well as a 17-speaker Mark Levinson 7.1-channel surround sound system and power folding third row seats.

Finally, the top-tier 2022 Lexus GX 460 Executive Package adds 19-inch alloy wheels, five-stage crawl control system, multi-terrain select system, a transmission cooler, additional fuel tank armour and a front console cool box to the Premium Package.
